Spend a creative day on the glamping field learning the art of willow sculpture with Judith Needham. You will take home a life- sized chicken to enhance your garden or perhaps give as a unique gift.

Mainly using a random weave, this is a class where, once you’ve learned the basics, you don’t have to concentrate too hard and you can chat as you weave! There are, however, some interesting techniques to learn for the details of legs, comb and tail feathers- all borrowed from traditional basket making.

There is plenty of room for creativity. Other birds or animals are possible or experiment with abstract sculpture.

Please ensure you bring suitable clothing and footwear for working outdoors. If the weather is unfavourable you will be working undercover on the field. However please note our glamping kitchen is open on 1 side.
