Your Stay

Nestled between the Surrey Hills and Sussex Weald, Glamping Holiday has been providing guests with a place to escape to the country in style since 2011.

You can find us on the Springbok Estate in Alfold, a charity run organisation providing housing with support to seafarers in need. We occupy a 2-acre field in front of the main house with the estate’s own campsite in the neighbouring field. Dotted around the field are five x 5 metre bell tents and 1 yurt, each sleeping up to 5 people. We can accommodate a maximum of 30 people.

We’re the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to enjoy the great outdoors with a touch of glamour. We do accept group bookings and most of our weekends are booked out for exclusive hire. We have hosted everything from family reunions to orderly hen parties over the years. We are also now taking corporate bookings. If your group exceeds 10 then please contact us before making a booking as you may be required to take the whole site.

  • There is no electricity on site
  • We have a minimum stay of 2 nights and 3 nights over bank holiday weekends

We believe that we have truly taken all the hard work out of camping! Glamping Holiday provides everything you need for a luxury camping experience. Inside each bell tent you will find air beds with all the linen, towels and blankets too. This isn’t without lots of decorative touches….. handmade bunting, lanterns and flowers to name a few.

There is a picnic table for alfresco dining outside each tent. Wake up on your first morning and enjoy our complimentary breakfast pack with bacon from a local butcher, eggs, rolls and milk. This is as well as a firepit, perfect for toasting the marshmallows provided under the stars. You will receive a complimentary basket of logs on arrival with the option to purchase more prior to/during your stay. Firelighters and kindling are provided.

There are two covered kitchen areas on the field. Inside the cupboards you will find all the kitchen equipment needed for cooking tasty campfire dishes. There is also a gas BBQ and two burner gas rings for those meals that need to be prepared a little quicker! You will find ample undercover seating to ensure an enjoyable dining experience in all weathers.

If you fancy spending your days relaxing in the field there are games for kids and big kids alike!

On site is a portable toilet/shower block. The unit consists of 2 flushable toilets and 1 electric shower on the ladies side and a flushable toilet and electric shower on the mens side.

There are quaint villages and attractions to explore, spectacular countryside walks straight from the field and a wealth of country pubs within a 5 minute drive or a slightly longer walk!

A full list of what we provide is sent out 2 weeks prior to arrival. However, if you have any particular requirements, please let us know before you arrive. We will then be able to do our best to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

When it comes to food during your stay guests have several options. You can bring your own food with you to cook on your firepit or use the communal barbeque. Another option is to have a supermarket delivery to the site. Our postcode is GU6 8EX.

We believe we have thought about everything for you and as a result you need to bring very little! We send out a kit list 2 weeks prior to arrival which details everything we provide on site and the items you need to bring along.

Spend a memorable day and night in the countryside with Glamping Holiday to boost your team’s morale. We are able to host corporate stays on weekday nights for up to 30 people. We are just a one hour drive from London and are well serviced by train stations in the area. We work with a specialist activities provider to offer fun, onsite activities for your team such as archery tag and bubble football. Working against each other in teams the activities are designed to focus on communication skills, team motivation and relations. After an adventurous day in the country your team can enjoy a tasty supper under the stars before settling in for an evening round the campfire.
