However, if you are feeling more active or the kids need some more entertainment then here are some suggestions:-- Walk, go bird watching or cycle around Sydney Wood which is nearby and part of the Forestry Commission land. - Springbok Estate can offer fishing ( rods available to hire from Glamping Holiday ) , clay pigeon shooting, use of it’s club house and bar facilities (you have to pay £1 to become a member) as well as the opportunity to wander around the enchanting walled garden and grounds.www.mswmsociety.org.uk
- Bikes can be hired from £30 per day from Pedal And Spoke in Cranleigh. Call Howard on 01483 346549. Be sure to arrange in good time as they get very busy.
- There are plenty of local pubs and restaurants. Ask for more details.
- Babysitting can be arranged for you if you fancy a night out without the kids. Just get in touch on 07768348677 to see about availability and rates.
- Visit Cranleigh, Guildford or Horsham all of which offer shops, parks, swimming, tennis, and theatres.
- There are also the surrounding villages of Alfold, Dunsfold, Wisborough Green and Petworth. Visit their websites for more details.

- London and the coastal towns of Brighton, Worthing and the Witterings are about an hour in the car.
- Theme parks of Chessington, Lego Land and Thorpe Park are about an hour away.

- Wey & Arun Canal - The Wey & Arun Canal runs through Surrey and West Sussex in Southern England and is a great way to spend a day out, row,walk or hire a canal boat and enjoy the water ways.
- For those of you who fancy swinging from the tree tops GO APE! is situated near Farnham and about a 40 minute drive. Alot of fun for the brave hearted!
